Sweet little after work session. Got to Pevensey as VFW Mark was packing up with massive smile on his ugly mug ;-)
Francis was still there and game for more, so took the advice of the boys and rigged a bit bigger, sticking my 5.9m Duke on the Hawk 123, but switching fins for the Choco Starfish 30cm from the more wave orientated 29 I'd had in it from last session.
Planed straight off the beach and right into a golden hour of bump and blast Pevensey stylee with just myself and Francis out there enjoying it.
Wind was forecast to drop, and as we noted the trademark switch to cross-off this was deemed to be beer-o'clock and we headed in.
De-rigged, swift pint, and to the chippy for some tea on the beach before home ready for the weekend.
Not all bad at all ... not a full on wave session, but sweet session none the less :-)
